The Qed Roomlink provides a wired solution for routing IR commands from different locations within the home, back to a central point where the equipment to be controlled is located. This will then permit such equipment as a VCR, satellite receiver and HiFi etc. to be controlled from various locations. The system works by firing the original equipments remote control handset at a suitably positioned WM22 Roomlink Eye IR Sensor. The received codes are then sent via a cable to the Roomlink Driver unit which re-transmits the codes (via small stick-on LED's) to the equipment to be controlled. Starter pack Includes:

Please note: A very small number of manufacturers codes will not pass through the IR link. Always test the operation before laying cables etc. The Sky and Pace Digiboxes require an RC6 window emitter which is available to order as an additional product within this section.
